Join Kaiser Permanente Georgia as a Part-Time Surgical Technologist in our Operating Room, working night shifts for 30 hours a week. This role provides critical support to surgical operations, ensuring a safe, sterile environment and assisting surgeons during procedures. Part of a dedicated team striving to blend top-quality care with optimal patient outcomes, this position leverages state-of-the-art technology within a collaborative healthcare framework. Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment is sterilized and assembled. Assist in surgical operations, passing instruments and supplies to surgeons. Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures. Monitor and replenish operating room supplies and inventory. Participate in post-operative breakdown and cleanup of the operating room. Comply with all health and safety protocols and procedures. Proficient in sterilization techniques Adept in using surgical tools and instruments Strong understanding of surgical procedures and medical terminology Ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent organizational and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
