Tetherow Resort has an immediate opening for a Group Sales Manager Who You Are You are a confident, motivated sales professional with a passion for weddings, social events, and group business. You bring both strategic thinking and creative energy to your work and know how to close while building long-term relationships. You’ll thrive in this role if you have: 2 years of experience in wedding sales, special events, or group sales, ideally within a luxury hotel or resort environmentProven sales acumen , with strong knowledge of resort/hotel offerings and competitive market positioningExceptional time management, multitasking, and organizational skills , with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong strategic, analytical, and follow-through skills Experience using CRM systems to manage inquiries, track account activity, and report prospecting, tentative, and definite businessA hunter/closer mindset with the ability to collaborate closely with senior sales leadership to maximize bookings and revenueExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills A solid understanding of booking within hotel parameters, revenue strategies, and brand standardsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demandsA high-energy, adventurous spirit—you enjoy having fun while delivering exceptional resultsA natural desire to go above and beyond for both guests and teammatesExperience in luxury hospitality and the ability to creatively sell and represent a wide range of resort event options What You’ll Do As Wedding Sales & Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue through strategic selling, relationship-building, and exceptional client service across both social and group business segments. Key responsibilities include: Proactively solicit, negotiate, contract, and close wedding and group business using creative selling techniquesDevelop and execute measurable sales strategies and action plans aligned with resort revenue goalsConduct site tours and client meetings, clearly communicating Tetherow’s services, amenities, and valueRespond to all website and inbound inquiries with a 24-hour speed-to-lead standard Maintain accurate and organized client account files and sales documentationPlan, envision, and articulate complex weddings, meetings, group events, and golf events , serving as a key on-site contact prior to event handoffDemonstrate strong menu planning and food & beverage knowledge , confidently presenting high-end culinary options to luxury clienteleCoordinate and lead hotel site inspections, FAM trips, and client presentationsTravel as needed to attend trade shows, cultivate new markets, and support strategic sales initiativesStay informed on industry trends and participate in professional events to enhance resort offerings and profitabilityBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners to drive repeat and referral businessSeamlessly pivot between Wedding Sales and Group Sales , meeting booking and contracting goals for both segmentsRepresent and engage clients “The Tetherow Way” —working smart, having fun, and delivering exceptional experiences Extra Perks Quarterly commission potential Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees 401(k) with company match Variable compensation eligibility Paid time off Golf privileges Discounts at Tetherow restaurants and Golf ShopWork just minutes from downtown Bend in one of the most beautiful settings in Central Oregon Compensation details: 60000-65000 Yearly Salary PI6d81e0f2e7a8-25448-39359771
