Description:Hennick's Home Center in Bandon is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Full - Time CDL Driver - Delivery to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting hardware materials and products to residential, commercial, and construction job sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a strong safety record, and excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate company trucks to deliver a wide range of building materials and hardware supplies to customers. Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand, as needed. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. Review delivery paperwork for accuracy and obtain customer signatures. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness. Follow all DOT and company safety regulations and protocols. Communicate with dispatch, store personnel, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues. Maintain clean and organized vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly.Requirements: Qualifications:Valid CDL Class A or B driver's license (Class A preferred, if applicable). Clean driving record and current DOT medical card. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous delivery or truck driving experience, ideally in hardware, building materials, or construction supplies. Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to read maps, GPS, and navigate delivery routes efficiently. Forklift certification is a plus (or ability to be certified upon hire). Work Environment:Primarily operates in outdoor environments and on the road. Exposure to varying weather conditions.
