Grace employs approximately 4,300 people in over 30 countries.Job DescriptionThe Oregon plant of W. R. Grace & Co. manufactures fine chemicals for a broad range of pharma, biotech and nutraceutical customers and specialty catalysts for polyefins and specialty chemicals. We are currently seeking a Material Handler to enhance our dynamic team. This position safely and accurately performs material handling duties in support of the receiving, shipping and warehousing needs of the department and facility.Job Duties include:

• Receive and complete required documentation on all raw materials and other deliveries upon arrival
• Package products for shipping
• Sample and distribute chemical samples
• Perform all functions required to ensure warehouses are kept in an orderly and safe manner
• Accurately complete shipments in a timely and efficient manner, including shipping paperwork
• Stage raw materials for production, as needed
• Operate forklift several hours per day
• Perform physical inventory checks
• Other duties, as assignedRequired Qualifications
  • Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum experience: 1 - 3 years Warehouse experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Ability to drive a forkliftPreferred Qualifications
    • Experience with materials management software desirable, such as SAP.
    • Cleanroom/GMP experience a plus.Benefits
