ATI is hiring a Maintenance Crew Supervisor to join ATI's Specialty
Alloys and Components team in Millersburg, Oregon. This is a 4x4
rotational shift with occasional overtime. As a Maintenance Crew
Supervisor, you will lead a diverse maintenance team of 8-10 highly
skilled professionals responsible for effectively maintaining
critical manufacturing equipment by identifying and troubleshooting
issues, performing preventative and corrective maintenance. You
will assure that production equipment, facilities, and utilities
are optimally maintained for efficient, reliable and uninterrupted
operation in-order-to meet production goals and objectives.A
successful Maintenance Crew Supervisor is an out-of-the-box
problem-solver, and is results oriented. To provide immediate
impact, you will have to quickly build trust with the Maintenance
Team, learn our manufacturing equipment and processes, our
maintenance program, and work collaboratively with cross-functional
teams including safety, operations, engineering, and quality, among
others. Primary Responsibilities
Manage concurrent maintenance
activities to maintain industrial manufacturing equipment and
facilities on a 7-day/week, 24-hour basis.Manage daily shift
schedule to complete scheduled maintenance activities and
prioritize break-in work according to established
criticality.Procure parts, supplies, and services used in
day-to-day maintenance activities.Perform data recording for
equipment downtime, failure analysis and PSM and Title V
documentation.Perform administrative duties such as time and
attendance, lead daily crew start-up meetings, and conduct
behavior-based safety observations.Ensure all supervised employees
meet annual safety training requirements, continuing education for
licensing, and adhere to all government regulations as well as
Company policies and procedures.Develop, educate, and guide crew in
proper maintenance direction.Work with supervised employees to
create a team environment.Create or modify drawings and other
documentation for use in maintaining equipment. Basic
Qualifications
Degree or license in maintenance
related craft, i.e. electrician, millwright etc.A minimum of 4
years of heavy manufacturing or industrial maintenance
experience.At least 3 years of formal or informal leadership
experience. Preferences
Must have excellent interpersonal and
communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated ability
to work independently or in a team-oriented management
environment.2 years of experience utilizing computerized
maintenance management systems and software.Proficiency of
Microsoft Office Software Suite particularly Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook.Ability to plan, assign, monitor work,
motivate, and coach employees. Experience with LEAN manufacturing
practices and continuous improvement concepts desired.Supervisory
experience in a union environment is highly preferred.PSM system
knowledge as well as management of change experience. We thrive
