Description: Is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests and identifying defects. Skills: cmm inspection, cmm, Quality control, Inspection, Quality assurance, Calipers, Quality inspection, Blueprint, Micrometer, Visual, Visual inspection, Quality check, Final inspection, Gd&t, Qc Top Skills Details: cmm inspection,cmm,Quality control,Inspection,Quality assurance,Calipers,Quality inspection,Blueprint,Micrometer,Visual,Visual inspection,Quality check,Final inspection,Gd&t Additional Skills & Qualifications: Records inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures Read and interpret blue print, drawings and specifications General knowledge of required specifications and standards Use precision measuring hand tools to verify conformance of parts to specifications Setup and measure using coordinate measuring machine (CMM) Setup and measure using hardness tester and optical comparitor Documents non-conformances in Non-Conforming Material Review system May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Set up and perform first part, in process and final inspections Receive, verify and record incoming materials and products from vendors and customers Calibrate measuring tools per procedure Perform basic adjustments and repairs on precision hand tools Perform dye penetrant inspections (Level 1) Fit and assemble precision parts Develop and initiate inspection, testing and evaluation methods and procedures Develop and document sampling procedures and instructions Verify and release work orders to production Complete AS9102 documentation package Duties & tasks are varied and moderately complex. Frequent contact with individuals representing other departments, including customer representatives.
