*Title: **Building Facilities Coordinator* *Pay Rate: **$30-$35/hr* *Part Time and Full Time Available (Part Time M, W, F - 8hours a day)* *Location: **Albany, OR* *Description:* The Building 200 Facilities Coordinator is responsible for making sure that the building and its services are optimally maintained and operated in order to meet the needs of the people that work in the building. General responsibilities include facilitation of building-related maintenance requests and activities, storage management, regular walk-throughs of all areas of the building and the facility property, coordination of safety audits, and resolution of all action items in cooperation with the resident departments of R&D and Specialty Chemicals, and the Maintenance and Plant Engineering departments. Job Duties: * *Ensure that Safety is a core value of the facility* * *Facilitate building audits: *Work with plant safety teams to ensure compliance with life-threatening programs such as LOTO and Machine Guarding. Coordinate work with resident departments (R&D and Specialty Chemicals), Maintenance and Plant Engineering to complete assigned tasks. * *Facilitate building asset maintenance:* Ensure preventative maintenance is coordinated with departments and Maintenance. Serve as point of contact for all building assets and equipment. * *Facilitate building storage:* Identify and document areas of storage and items present. Facilitate organization and periodic purge of storage areas with owners, according to ATI Document Retention standards. * *Regular building walk-through:* Walk the building and its exterior regularly to ensuring the entire facility is functioning as required and identifying areas that need attention. Primary Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Serve as the primary point of contact for Building 200 to Plant Security, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), Maintenance, Plant Engineering, and all other non-resident ATI departments who utilize the building for storage or periodic tasks * Coordinate with resident departments (R&D and Specialty Chemicals) to align and prioritize building needs * Serve as the primary point of contact for Building 200 to external vendors, such as maintenance contractors and custodial services * Coordinate audits with the Joint Health, Safety, and Environmental Committee (JHSEC) and complete assigned action items * Participate in audits for Life-Threatening programs such as LOTO and Machine Guarding with committee representatives and complete action items as required * Capture items in need of repair, write work requests as needed, and coordinate with Maintenance to ensure timely completion of tasks according to priority * Maintain the inventory all storage areas and standardize storage rules * Perform a regular walk-through of the building, noting areas that need maintenance, and coordinate repair * Understand and follow safe handling procedures for all chemicals * Handle and organize hazardous and non-hazardous material and waste in accordance to current EH&S policies * Work effectively with Production Supervisors to determine priorities Qualifications/Skills: * Associates degree in engineering, surveying or business administration preferred * 1+ year work experience in facilities management, or related technical role preferred * Competence in operating a forklift, or the capability to become competent in 2 weeks * Ability to wear a respirator in specific instances * This position requires excellent personal communication in order to work constructively with a variety of stakeholders who have differing perspectives * This position also requires attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed, problem solving skills, and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment Why Kelly--?
