Job Description:

As a CDL Driver at US Foods, you will be a key player in our mission to deliver high-quality foodservice products to our valued customers. Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles, you will ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods, playing an essential role in our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will handle routes that connect with hundreds of restaurants, helping our partners thrive by ensuring they receive the products they need whenever they need them. This role requires diligence, reliability, and a strong adherence to safety standards, reflecting US Foods' reputation as a leader in the foodservice industry. Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all vehicles. Adhere strictly to scheduling and logistics timelines. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all goods are secured. Maintain communication with dispatch and respond to requests as needed. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service and deal effectively with issues on the route. Proficiency in operating heavy vehicles Ability to manage routes and schedules efficiently Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical fitness and ability to manage heavy lifting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean driving record DOT Medical Card
