We are currently looking for an exceptional Non CDL Driver to join the warehouse team at our Vancouver, WA location. This person would be responsible for safely loading and delivering goods on time to our customers. Our drivers generally work 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM Monday - Friday with some overtime expected. Home every night! Hired candidates will be working onsite at the branch location. There is no relocation assistance available. We encourage you to click the link below and read over our Mission Statement and Core Values http://www.pspipe.com/mission-vision-values/ Starting at $19.00 - $21.00/hour depending on experience. - Come work for a company that cares about your success! - 40 hours a week - Work/Life balance in a fun casual work environment - Excellent company benefits (Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and 401k) - Paid Holidays and Vacation time-off Driver Duties: - Locate material in pipe yard and warehouse for delivery - Use a forklift to load/unload boxes, pallets and pipe onto the truck - Ship, transport and deliver material and customer orders on time and accurately - Maintain daily vehicle inspection reports and comply with all DOT requirements - Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations along with all other applicable internal and external policies, rules, regulations and procedures Warehouse Duties: - Safely pull customer orders throughout the day while documenting each step - Ensure that a quality check is performed on all incoming and outgoing material - Inspect items for quality and quantity and for any evidence of damage - Use a forklift to transport material from its storage location to the staging area - Wrap, box and palletize material for stock or customer orders - Place destination information on packed material and appropriate paperwork - Properly document your actions on sales orders, purchase orders and transfers - Maintain a clean working area by organizing material on shelves and keeping floors swept - Work cooperatively with warehouse staff to ensure that delivery deadlines are met - Comfortably lifting all day up to 50 pounds of material into a cart or onto a pallet Desired Experience/Skills: - Positive can-do attitude - Motivation - Dependable and punctual - Class A/B CDL or non-CDL delivery experience preferred - Previous job experience working within a warehouse - Previous job experience using a forklift - Previous job experience picking orders - Basic understanding of commercial and industrial pipe, valves and fitting - RF experience Requirements: - HS Diploma or equivalency - Pass pre-employment drug screen - Pass Background Check - Must currently possess and maintain a current and clear driving record Puget Sound Pipe and Supply provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment, without regard to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, marital status, honorably discharged veteran or military status, citizenship or immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, the presence of a sensory, physical, or mental disability, the use of trained service animal by a person with a disability, status as a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking, political ideology, family relationship (denying employment because a family member already works for the employer), expunged juvenile record, off-duty tobacco use, familial status and source of income, or on any other basis protected by local, state or federal law.
