Job Description:
Legacy Health is seeking an Associate General Counsel
specialized in Healthcare Law to join our dynamic team. This role
entails providing comprehensive legal advice and support to our
healthcare system, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and
local regulations. The successful candidate will play a crucial
role in navigating complex healthcare laws to aid Legacy Health in
delivering exceptional patient care while mitigating legal risks
and safeguarding the organization's reputation. Advise on legal
matters related to healthcare operations, including patient care,
clinical research, and regulatory compliance Draft, review, and
negotiate healthcare contracts and agreements Represent the
organization in legal proceedings and manage relationships with
external counsel Develop and implement policies and procedures to
ensure organizational compliance with healthcare laws and
regulations Participate in strategic planning and risk management
discussions Strong expertise in healthcare laws and regulations
Excellent negotiation and communication skills Proficient in
drafting legal documents and managing litigation cases Ability to
advise on risk management and strategic planning High ethical
standards and professional integrity Medical Insurance Dental

in the state of Oregon or Washington Certification in healthcare
compliance (CHC or similar) is preferred
