Job Description Job Description Mary's Woods is looking for a Floor Care Technician who is dedicated to creating a clean and beautiful community for our residents and their guests to enjoy. As the Floor Care Technician, you will be cleaning and maintaining carpeted, tiled and wood floors while attending to any janitorial needs. You will be contributing daily to create a clean and beautiful community for residents and their guests to enjoy. You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents and families, and enjoy working on a team. Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience and skills needed to be successful: Clean floors in residential units and common areas demonstrating proper floor cleaning techniques on both carpet and hard surfaces including waxing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, spotting, and deep cleaning Cleans up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as directed Ensures resident’s rooms are safe, comfortable, maintained in an attractive manner, and resident’s personal items are safeguarded Maintain all cleaning equipment at an operator's level Report all hazardous conditions/equipment to the Housekeeping Manager and/or Director of Environmental Services Education and Experience Required: Education and/or experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED Shift: Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm Pay: From $20.00 per hour Employee Benefits: Free Employee TriMet Pass Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability and Flexible Spending Account first of the month after hire (working 30 hours per week) Employee Assistance Program 403b with match Paid Time Off & Holidays Tuition Assistance Program Access to Fitness Center & Pool Complimentary Food Item per Shift Working at Mary's Woods in any capacity means you're supporting an organization with a mission rooted in the core values of respect, compassion, excellence, stewardship and justice.
