Site Location: Portland, Oregon Set schedule: Monday thru Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Swing, 40 Hours Competitive hourly wage of $26 / Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc. What’s in it for you: A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities of a Concierge Security Supervisor Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors Manage access control Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Answer questions in person or by phone Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property Ensure that GardaWorld Security core values are integrated into and throughout all business practice. Supervise the day-to-day security service provided to the facility and ensure service is of the highest standards – capable of representing GardaWorld as the premier provider of security services in the industry Ensure that operational logs, records and post orders are maintained appropriately. Develop and maintain effective relationships with client and employees and serve as the liaison between GardaWorld, our client, and our assigned staff Maintain goal of zero safety incidents, while at the same time managing a robust safety culture and a robust safety program that is appropriate to the operating environments Regularly review security officer schedules and staffing levels to identify opportunities for improvement of security operations, decreased risk, and reduced cost where possible Immediate responsibility to direct, supervise, and support shift officers. Supervise & manage employees on your shift at your assigned job site. Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with our client at the assigned site. Exercise independent judgement and sound decision making in performing all duties. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications for Concierge Security Supervisor Be authorized to work in the U.S. Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience You have a minimum of 1 year of security supervising experience In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work .
