Oncology NP/PA Position in Coos Bay, OR

Join the dedicated team at a 127-bed Level III Trauma facility nestled in the beautiful Southern Coast of Oregon. This hospital is the largest on the coast and serves a diverse community of over 320,000 residents. The facility offers a collaborative environment that values growth and commitment to serving patients in the Oncology service line.

• Full-time, Day shift with four ten-hour shifts.
• Paid call shared equally amongst the team.
• Primarily outpatient care with occasional inpatient consultations.
• Work closely within the Bay Area Hospital Cancer Center, affiliated with the OHSU Knight Cancer Network.
• Provide services including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, medical oncology, cancer support services, and clinical trials.
• Utilize a new 19-chair infusion room, in-house pharmacy, nurse navigation, and comprehensive radiation oncology services.
• Collaborate with a high-caliber, collegial nursing and infusion team.
• Perform clinical tasks within the scope of an advanced practice provider.

• Board Certified NP or PA - Required
• AONCP certification (or in-process) for NP candidates - Required
• PA Oncology subspecialty training - Highly Preferred
• Oregon license (or willingness to obtain) - Required
• Experience in Oncology practice is Highly Preferred
• Clean malpractice history and background - Required

• Must have ties to Oregon (i.e., family in the area or prior residency).
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within the last 30 days) - Required
• Full presentation must be uploaded into the submission system - Required
