Stayton, OR - Locums OB Hospitalist / OB-GYN (Local Candidates Only)Quick Snapshot

• Location: Stayton, Oregon

Availability Requirements

• Coverage Need: 2-4 weeks per month
• Schedule: 24-Hour Beeper Call (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
• Call Ratio: 1:4
• Call Type: Off-site beeper call
• Clinic Opportunities: Available if provider is interested

License Requirements

• Active Oregon Medical License Required
• DEA Required

Certifications & Qualifications

• Board Certified OB/GYN - Required
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience - Required

Clinical Skills Required

• Laparoscopic GYN Cases - Required
• Comfortable serving as the primary or sole OB provider on-site when needed
• Obstetrical and gynecologic surgical experience required

Practice DetailsSupport Team

• Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
• CRNA anesthesia support
• Family Medicine physicians manage newborn care
• 2 full-time OB/GYN physicians
• 2 established locum OB/GYN physicians

Patient Volume

• 18-22 clinic patients per day
• 2-3 surgeries per week
• 1-2 deliveries per day while on call
• Approximately 15 deliveries per month

Call Expectations

• Volume varies significantly
• May be called in as few as 2 times during a weekend
• Higher-volume weekends may require 6-7 call-ins

Facility Information

• 40-bed hospital
• EMR: Epic
• Treats patients of all ages

Ideal Candidate

• Board-certified OB/GYN with laparoscopic surgery experience
• Comfortable with independent call coverage in a smaller community hospital setting
• Interested in ongoing locums coverage with extension potential
• Able to manage both obstetrical and gynecologic cases independently
