Job Description:

Kaiser Permanente Georgia is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Catheterization Laboratory team on a temporary basis. In this dynamic role, the RN will provide critical care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that aligns with our mission of enhancing member health through integrated services. Monitor patient vitals and condition before, during, and after catheterization procedures. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses. Operate and understand all cath lab equipment and technology. Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare staff to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Educate patients and families about procedures, post-procedure care, and preventive measures. Proficient in using cath lab equipment Strong ability to assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care High level of skill in decision-making and maintaining patient safety Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia BLS/ACLS certification required Certification in cardiovascular nursing (CVN) preferred
