Kaiser Permanente Georgia is seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this critical role, you'll provide top-notch medical care in a fast-paced emergency department, delivering both immediate and effective responses to patients in acute care settings. Our ED RNs play a vital part in our mission to improve health and wellness, ensuring integrated care that results in outstanding patient outcomes. Provide immediate medical evaluation and determine care requirements for patients in the emergency department. Administer medications, treatments, and perform medical procedures as necessary. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and nursing staff to formulate treatment plans. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Educate patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and early detection. Prepare reports and maintain accurate department records, including health care claims. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives for quality assurance and safety. Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments Exceptional patient assessment and critical thinking skills Proficient in the use of medical technologies and patient management systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills for educating patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Georgia. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
