As a Patient Transport Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the comfort and mobility of our patients, assisting them in navigating through different parts of our facilities for various medical services. This position requires dedication to patient care, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment. Safely transport patients to and from exam rooms, procedures, therapy, and recovery rooms. Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport within the facility. Maintain and clean transportation equipment, including wheelchairs and stretchers. Assist with lifting patients as required. Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times. Communicate effectively with nursing and medical staff about patient conditions and specific needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain patience and professionalism. Physical ability to push, pull, and lift patients using appropriate devices. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CPR certification preferred or required within first six months of employment. BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is a plus.
