Job Description: Job Title: Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist Location: The Dalles, Oregon Schedule: 5x8 hrs Shift: Nights – 12-hour shifts Pay Range: $2000 - $2074 Gross Weekly DOE Position Summary: We are seeking a Medical Technologist to join our team. This position requires attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to perform a wide variety of laboratory tests in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will work well both independently and as part of a team, contributing to accurate and timely patient care. Key Responsibilities: Perform chemical, microscopic, and microbiological test assays Conduct laboratory testing to support diagnosis and treatment of disease Store and label specimens accurately Prepare specimens using manual and automated laboratory equipment Perform analytical testing procedures within scope of practice Ensure compliance with State licensure regulations Supervise phlebotomists and provide guidance as needed Maintain laboratory standards and quality control procedures Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working in a large hospital laboratory Certification: ASCP MLT or AMT Only Med Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Interested?
