Job Description:
Atlanta Gentle Dental is seeking a dedicated Traveling Dental
Assistant to join our team. As a key component of our practice, you
will travel among our various local offices, ensuring that
high-quality dental care is consistently provided to our patients.
This role is perfect for those who are organized, compassionate,
and enjoy a dynamic work environment. You will assist our dentists
across several locations, giving you a unique opportunity to
experience diverse workplace settings while maintaining the
familiar quality standards of Atlanta Gentle Dental. Assist the
dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Set up and
breakdown operatory post-treatment. Travel between different office
locations as scheduled. Take dental radiographs (x-rays) as
prescribed. Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize
instruments and equipment. Provide patients with instructions for
oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain
oral health. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling
appointments and maintaining patient records. Strong interpersonal
skills to maintain effective rapport with patients and staff.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Skilled in the use of
modern dental equipment. Excellent organizational skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred. X-ray Certification
required. CPR Certification required.
