Job Description:
Atlanta Gentle Dental is seeking a dedicated Traveling Dental
Assistant to join our team. This unique position offers the
opportunity to work in multiple locations within the Atlanta area,
providing essential support to our dentists and ensuring that
patients receive the highest quality of care. Whether you are
assisting with preventative, cosmetic, or restorative dental
procedures, your role will be vital in maintaining our standards of
excellence and patient satisfaction. This dynamic role requires
flexibility, a passion for travel, and an eagerness to learn and
adapt in various clinical environments. Assist the dentist during a
variety of treatment procedures. Set up and breakdown operatory
post treatment. Take dental radiographs (x-rays) as prescribed.
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and
equipment. Provide patients with instructions for oral care
following all dental treatment procedures. Educate patients on
appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health. Travel
to multiple dental offices in the specified area. Strong
organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time
effectively and adapt to changing environments. Proficient in using
dental software and X-ray machines. Excellent communication skills,
capable of explaining complex dental terms in simple language.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k CPR Certification required. Radiography certification as per
state guidelines.
