Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Our non-profit health system spans across Oregon and Washington, providing comprehensive care at six hospitals and numerous outpatient facilities. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Legacy Health, you will focus on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in patients across various age groups. This role is pivotal in enhancing patient quality of life through tailored therapy and innovative practices in speech pathology. Evaluate patient speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills to determine diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement specialized therapies to address disorders, tracking patients' progress and adjusting treatments as necessary. Educate patients and family members about communication strategies and swallowing techniques, ensuring a comprehensive care approach. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate speech therapy with overall patient care. Participate in research activities to advance speech therapy practices within the health system. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and provide detailed progress reports. Proficiency in evidence-based methods of speech therapy Ability to handle a diverse caseload effectively Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and analytical abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist BLS Certification preferred
