Practice with an interdisciplinary team composed of physicians, midwives, and family practice Residents. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct thorough patient consultations, examinations, and assessments to diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide exceptional prenatal, postnatal, and general obstetric and gynecological care to patients, ensuring their overall well-being. Collaborates frequently with Midwives and other multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver comprehensive patient care. Stay up to date with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology by actively participating in professional development activities, such as conferences, workshops, and continuing education opportunities. Opportunity teach Family Medicine resident physicians both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient environment. Utilization of state-of-the-art technology to utilize Divinci Robot for surgical cases. Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography imbedded in clinic QUALIFICATIONS: Medical degree and completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Board certification or eligibility for certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Oregon. Proven experience in performing a variety of obstetric and gynecological surgeries. Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges at CHI Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg Oregon Willingness to teach Family Medicine resident physicians both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. Dedication to maintaining high ethical standards and adherence to best practices in patient care. Willingness to participate in on-call duties and provide emergency obstetric and gynecological care when necessary.
