Atlanta Gentle Dental is looking for a compassionate and skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will assist our orthodontists during various dental procedures and contribute to the superior dental care that we promise to our patients. Your daily activities will include preparing examination and surgical rooms, providing chairside assistance, taking orthodontic records, including radiographs and dental impressions, and maintaining patient comfort throughout their visits. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment. Collect and record patient health histories. Assist orthodontists during dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort. Take dental radiographs and impressions. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Provide postoperative care instructions prescribed by the orthodontist. Manage patient scheduling and billing as needed. Strong understanding of dental and orthodontic terminology and procedures. Proficiency in using dental software and digital radiography. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential preferred. Additional certification in dental radiography.
