summary: The Speech Language Pathologist at Providence Seaside
Hospital provides skilled evaluation and treatment of patients with
speech and language disorders, addressing diverse diagnoses and
disabilities. This role requires advanced education and licensure,
including a Master's or Ph.D. in Speech/Language Pathology and an
Oregon state license. The position involves on-call, day shift work
focused on patient-centered rehabilitation to maximize independence

manages and provides skilled speech/language pathology to
patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities,
taking into account individual patient special physical or
age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and
treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum
patient/client independence in accordance with individual's

Qualifications: Master's Degree From an accredited Speech/Language
Pathology Program. Or Ph.D. From an accredited Speech/Language
Pathology Program. Or equivalent educ/experience.
Coursework/Training Specialized speech/language pathology training
to meet a particular department need. Upon hire: Oregon Speech
Language Pathologist License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS -
American Heart Association. Occasionally a position will require
specialized speech/language pathology experience to meet a

for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage
range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
