Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care for patients in the progressive care unit, focusing on monitoring and managing patients' conditions.Duties:- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations- Administer medications and treatments- Monitor patient vital signs and condition- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and adjust patient care plans- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation- Provide education to patients and families on disease prevention and management- Assist with procedures such as suturing and wound careSkills:- Proficient in family planning procedures- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology- Ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for infection control- Experience with medical records management and coding- Understanding of nursing home protocols and patient care in that setting- Proficiency in wound care including suturing techniquesJoin our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing quality patient care in a progressive care setting.
