Job Description:
The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting surgeons in
the OR. Operating Room Nurses will prepare the OR and the patient
for the procedure and make sure that all equipment is clean and
operating properly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room Registered Nurse
responsibilities consist of:
Monitoring the health of the patient before, during and after the
operation.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and give instruments and
medical supplies to them during operations.
Collecting and labeling the items needed for lab examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room RN within
the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
