Technician 2 (Sports Optics Assembly) Typical Base Pay Rate Range
of $26/hour - $32/hour (DOE) Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Manufacturing Engineering Technician plays a vital role in
supporting our diverse assembly production team to ensure safety,
quality, delivery, and efficiency targets are consistently met.

Manufacturing Engineering Technician 2: Responding to requests from
production and engineering to resolve safety concerns, ensure
quality, troubleshoot production issues, and improve efficiency.
Evaluating parts, processes, and tooling for issues and
opportunities for improvement. Escalating problems to appropriate
support departments based on investigation. Communicating findings
and status updates. Developing, controlling, and maintaining a
variety of manufacturing work instructions, and other supporting
documentation materials. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills
and Experience You’ll Need as a Manufacturing Engineering
Technician 2: High school diploma or equivalent, and 5 years of
experience problem-solving in a manufacturing environment. An
equivalent combination of education and experience may be
considered. Ability to interpret technical documentation such as
part drawings, assembly specifications, work instructions,
technical data sheets, and safety data sheets. Experience with
basic metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, and hard
gaging. Demonstrated software skills across a variety of program
types including Microsoft Office, Enterprise Resource Planning
systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and project management
tools. Excellent written and verbal communication. Attention to
detail and follow through. Work Environment for a Manufacturing
Engineering Technician 2: Work takes place in a manufacturing
environment and requires the use of light tools and machinery. This
role frequently requires lifting or moving up to 15 pounds.
