Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement process
automation control systems. Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred;
Siemens, Modicon, and Emerson experience a plus). Develop and
configure SCADA/HMI applications (Ignition, Rockwell Software,
AVEVA, WinCC). Specify, configure, and commission instrumentation
and motor control circuits. Lead or support system commissioning
and field start-ups. Configure and maintain OT infrastructure
(Hypervisors, VMs, SQL databases, backup solutions). Configure and
maintain industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
Deploy and troubleshoot networking equipment (switches, routers,
firewalls, cellular modems). Ensure OT/IT network security and
integration with enterprise systems. Prepare submittals, system
documentation, and detailed design specifications. Provide
technical support and troubleshooting for control loops,
instrumentation, and SCADA systems. Interface directly with
customers for training, support, and project updates.
Qualifications BS in Electrical, Controls, Computer Engineering, or
related field, or equivalent technical training with hands-on
experience. 5 years of experience in systems integration, controls
engineering, or OT/IT roles. Proficiency in PLC programming
(primarily Allen-Bradley RSLogix/Studio 5000). Proficiency in
HMI/SCADA development (primarily Ignition, AVEVA, FactoryTalk
View). Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols
(Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus). Experience configuring and
troubleshooting network infrastructure (switches, routers,
firewalls, VLANs, VPNs). Familiarity with virtualization platforms.
Strong troubleshooting skills for digital/analog circuits,
instrumentation, and motor controls. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills for customer-facing roles. Preferred
Qualifications PlantPax programming experience. Recognized
networking certification. Familiarity with UL508A/698A standards
and electrical panel design. Experience with 2D electrical CAD
software. Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices.
Exposure to projects across multiple industries (water/wastewater,
manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, utilities).
Experience managing project scope, cost, and schedule. Familiarity
with RFIs, submittals, and change order processes. Benefits 401(k)
